\[I tried searching this subreddit, but did not find anything, so apologizes if this has been asked and answered before.\]
I have the blue Compact Nelson’s Dictionary and the “Original Modern Reader’s – Classic Edition” (red cover) published in 1995 and reprinted in 1998. I recently saw the blue cover book “New Nelson’s ” published in 1997.
What are the differences between these two versions. I ask because it seems that the classic version was reprinted AFTER the new version came out and some people seem to prefer it.
According to reviews on the Classic Edition, the new edition does contain several thousand new characters, but “none you are likely to ever come across”.
Should I get a copy of the blue book, stay with just the classic edition, or keep both books?
(And I know there are other books available, I have others too, just curious about this specific book)
