COE confusion

I work with two Japanese companies remotely and don’t stay in japan.

Let’s call them company A and company B.

I work full-time with company A and part-time with company B.

Company A invited me to work in Japan, so they’d start preparing for my COE application this week.

My (monthly salary) payment transfers from company B often have a 20.42% withholding tax deduction, and I assume that 20.42% goes to the japan tax authority.

I was reading online that my resume would be needed by company A to apply for the COE (and subsequently by me for the visa application).

My doubt is that if I mention working with company B in the resume, could the embassy/Japanese visa centre deny my COE or visa application (because I’m working with 2 Japanese companies simultaneously. I assume they can pull up my information from the japan tax authority), and so should I stop working with company B before company A starts the application (process) for my COE, and mention the same in the resume?

Company A also doesn’t know I work with company B, so should I stop working with company B since I’d have to mention company B on my resume?

TIA.

PS. on a side note, is working with two companies like this allowed in japan just in case I’d like to work this way after moving to japan
