the launch of the CPU was last week and I understood it was a global launch. Meaning it should be available in Japan. I have not found it on Kakaku. Has it sold out already or is it launching later?

Try searching the denkiya directly, like Yodobashi and Bic.
Absolutely nowhere has it. Not even the big names like Amazon. Been keeping an eye out myself. I checked sellers in the UK because I’ve got family sending stuff here soon and they’re all quoting stock reception in May! I think we’re fucked.
