Hey guys!
I need some help. I want to give a close colleague of mine a thank you gift and include a card/letter. I am still at the early stages of learning Japanese and a very kind coworker is having regularly walks during out lunch break and is practicing with me Japanese.
Can you please check if this letter makes any sense? I still suck at Japanese and tried to write something with my knowledge and basic googling. (I didn’t want to waits months till I am better to thank him lol.) Please correct me if you can!
Many thanks in advance! 🙂

Dear XYZ,
**XYZさん,**
I hope you are doing well.
I wanted to thank you for our Japanese lessons. I enjoy our daily lessons and walks very much. They are very motivating. I will study hard!
It’s also interesting to hear about life in Japan.
Sorry for the inconvenience/thanks for the patients, but you were very helpful. You are a great teacher.
I hope my little gift shows my gratitude. I hope you enjoy it.
I wish you the best and hope we continue to support each other in the future! Let’s have a lot more walks together!

Your letter is not perfect, but it is completely uderstandable and I think the person will appreciate it very much. Consider sending it as is, it’s a reflection of your level and the progress you’ve made thanks to them, I’m sure they’ll appreciate it.
Oh crap, that’s so sweet. 😀 Definitely send it.. I’m sure they will love it.
