Hi everyone, I want to improve my speaking Japanese ( had N2 but cannot speak much). Where can I find private tutor? is there any things I should note before taking online speaking lesson? Thank you 🙏
Try italki. There are tons of tutors and teachers. If you just need speaking practice, you don’t even need a certified teacher. (“Community tutors” are typically native speakers who do more free talk kind of lessons for a cheaper price than a certified teacher.)
You can try out different tutors and see who you like. There’s also usually a few retired guys who can do business Japanese practice with you.
Seconding italki.
Do you want to practice speaking Japanese or learn speaking Japanese ?
I also recommend Italki. Specifically, Ippei-sensei. He is the best tutor I had: helped me with formal speech, informal speech, reading… everything! He is Japanese, living or lived in Sweden. I havent been able to take any classes for a long time now since im so busy working here in Nagano and Niigata. Once i get some time off again, I will continue taking courses from Ippei but since I already communicate in Japanese with my coworkers, I am getting my daily practice.

がんばってください!
Let me add to the italki chorus! As others have said, some of the community tutors offer great value.
cafetalk
For italki, I recommend the teacher “Kayo, JLPT!”
