After ROH Pure Champion Shibata and his LA Dojo graduate Alex Coughlin defeated The Workhorsemen, Coughlin indicated he wants a shot at Shibata’s title (and reiterated the point on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/alexcoughlin93/status/1646672239847251968)).
Coughlin facing Tracy Williams in an ROH Pure Rules match this Sunday at the Collision in Philadelphia PPV was announced a while ago, and was always advertised as having title implications.
Now it seems inevitable that the match is happening, likely sooner rather than later.

That is a great way and a respectful way to handle that. Love it. From a storytelling perspective it’s great. No need to turn on the person and become a dastardly heel. Just “You are my teacher, I am your student, and I want to test myself. I want to become the man. But I can’t do it if I don’t beat you.” Love it.
For some reason this ROH stuff seems to be the only ones that don’t get posted on World much.
It’s frustrating to find out Shibata is apparently having matches and I can’t see them, when I get to see basically every other New Japan guy’s matches in Rev Pro, Impact, etc.
