As the title says I’m having some problems with my paper. Every sentence has to have a 1.5 space lining but in sentences with japanese words in them the space lining is much bigger.
For my paper I can only use calibri and a font size of 12.
I already tried re-installing my japanese keyboard. Tried putting it in wordperfect and also tried to change the line spacing settings to “exactly at 18 pts” which is kinda working but it’s still not the same as a 1.5 space lining.
Could someone help me out with this please?

It sounds like the issue you are experiencing may be related to the line spacing settings in Microsoft Word. Here are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:
Check the line spacing settings:
In Microsoft Word, go to the Home tab and click on the Line and Paragraph Spacing icon. From there, select 1.5 as your line spacing option. If this is already selected, try changing it to a different setting and then changing it back to 1.5 to see if that resolves the issue.
Adjust the line spacing for specific text:
Highlight the text that is affected by the spacing issue and go to the Line and Paragraph Spacing icon. From there, select “Line Spacing Options” and change the “Before” and “After” spacing to 0 pt. This should help to normalize the spacing for the affected text.
Try a different font:
As you mentioned that you are limited to using Calibri in size 12, you may want to try a different font to see if it resolves the issue. Fonts can have different spacing characteristics, so it’s possible that using a different font may help to normalize the spacing.
Hopefully, one of these solutions will help you resolve the issue with your paper. If you are still experiencing problems, feel free to provide additional details, and I can provide further assistance.
So hey guys just wanted to say that I’ve found a solution.
I sent a copy of my essay to a friend and on his PC it looks fine. So he’ll just convert it into a Pdf and send it to me.
Thank you for your help tho!
