1. I swear sometimes I see photos of him now and I think, just for a moment, “Wait, Shingo shaved his beard?”

2. I really like SANADA’s look. It makes him look like a big deal, especially now since he’s World Champion.

   I hate to say this, but SANADA would look so much cooler holding that V4 belt. I don’t hate the new design, but I wish they didn’t do away with the old one. Maybe they’ll bring it back someday.

4. When Sanada came in to NJPW I was like his classic version could make a run for the title.

   He interfered in a Okada match to allow Naito to win the title.

   Then he experimented with his look cause he was bored… but now he is back in black.

   He put a climax to his interactions with Okada and the next logical fight is with Naito…

   Wrestling can be amazing if done right.

7. I was once in the bathroom at an ROH show with EVIL and Sanada, and made eye contact with Sanada in the mirror. I had no idea I just locked eyes with the future World Champion!

8. I am happy for SANADA and I am in the minority but I like the new iwgp belt it gives me winged eagle vibes I love the V4 belt design but I don’t mind the new one SANADA has come a long way from where he started from.

17. I liked the old belt. I didn’t love it. It’s fine they made the change. Now, it’s okay if they admit that this belt just doesn’t meet the standard of what an IWGP heavyweight championship should look like.
