Recently moved to Japan and will be staying here for 2+ years. Really need a SIM card. Most of my foreigner friends who are staying with me suggested me to get a GTN Mobile SIM, because it has English support. However, one specific person suggested to get SIM cards from popular brands, like DOCOMO or SOFTBANK. The reasons he cited was, better service and sometimes they provide free smartphone the moment you sign up for a new contact.
Currently, living in Kobe, and would be really grateful if someone could give me information regarding this.

Lately I have been confused on what to buy. A gaming laptop or build a pc. A pc is cheaper and can go on for many years but i’m kinda confused about the electricity consumption.

I just recently started to work part-time but my salary is at 2000y/hour which means that me being able to work up to 28H I could earn 224,000y per months.
Now, I heard that as a student you’re not allowed to earn more than 112 000y per months. How so and has anyone been in the same situation as myself ?
