  1. With the way things are going I bet it’ll be a tag. Like Jay/ELP/Juice/Ace/Bey vs. Finlay/Fale/Chase/KENTA/Ishimori.

I saw a post on the 4chan /pw/ board a while ago about how Tony’s dilemma will be finding a way to get AEW fans to care about Finlay. They weren’t wrong. He is the leader of Bullet Club so he has to be in some sort of prominent position. But as much as we’re split on him on this sub, AEW people are not going to give a fuuuuuuck about him. I have the same worry about SANADA, although to a lesser extent.

  2. I mean, it would be a Jay White match, so that’s cool.

However one on one with Dollar Store Jay? No dice.

  3. No. It’s a match they can’t do as whoever loses will be affected badly.

  4. I can honestly see this happening but I know people won’t be excited for this match up.

  5. No diss to Finlay but there’s way better matches for Switch at FB when you factor in the 3 or 4 extra promotions involved.

  6. I think it’s likely to be a multi man of Jays bullet club vs Finlay’s bullet club. Which is both boring and predictable

  7. I could see them doing a bullet club v Bullet club.

Jay, Juice, ELP, Ace and Bey
    Vs
David, Kenta, Taiji, Sho and Evil.

  8. Well some kind of resolution needs to evolve from whatever is going on because I’m very lost as to the current situation of BC right now unless I’m late on info

  9. How about David Finlay, Evil and Jay white in a triple threat match to see who is the true leader of Bullet Club?

  10. It wouldn’t make sense unless Finlay goes over and Jay is the babyface. No way they turn Jay by FD, or AEW lets him lose on that show.

  11. I don’t think it’ll happen but if it did Finlay is gonna embarrass himself. Jay’s gonna show him what the true leader is capable of.

  12. Unless you want to ruin their momentum by losing to the other, no, I don’t see it happening.

Jay White is still new to AEW as a full time wrestler and has a momentum after ending his free agency, so AEW wants to make sure he is protected.

And Finlay needs more matches and more time to truly establish himself because right now he’s still viewed as a mid carder being given a main event push who is nowhere near Jay’s level.

Tag match is a safe option though, but it depends if it’s two on two or faction vs faction, and if neither of those two eat the pin.

  13. The entire Jay leaves NJPW to go to AEW is just too weird for me, tbh.

I’d ONLY want to see this match if Jay was contracted to NJPW.

  14. No

New japan wouldn’t do a big new japan match like that

I wonder why jay did those loser leaves matches now

Maybe at the time he really thought he was leaving

Maybe he just doesn’t want to do new japan at all

  15. Yes but I don’t see how the booking can go here, neither should lose, and with Jay not being able to wrestle in NJPW I don’t see where this is going.

But you know, wrestling and all that, i’m sure Gedo/TK have something planned.

  16. Its kind of up to Eddie Kingston, isn’t it? Jay needs Eddie’s permission to wrestle any NJPW talent.

  17. Probably like a Ten Man Tag of Finlay, Evil, Kenta, Ishimori, and Sho vs White, ELP, Juice, and Two AEW Guys.

  18. I hope not. I like David Finlay, but I don’t think that he has enough star power to justify having a match with Jay White at Forbidden Door.

  19. If I was NJPW I wouldn’t feed one of my guys to Jay. He already hurt them badly by leaving and it isn’t like he wasn’t getting opportunity to shine in New Japan.

  20. I’d like to see it teased but honestly I don’t think you can book it right now. Neither can take a big loss unless Jay signing with AEW is actually a part of his story within NJPW.
