  2. Did anyone else notice the very prominent “Made in USA”, that is actually really interesting to me for some reason.

  3. According to their website, it’s actually made in CA in the US. However, there are some ingredients/preservatives that cannot be imported to Japan, so this formula doesn’t have them so “the color may change slightly depending on the storage conditions. Even if the color changes, the taste does not change.” (Google translate)
    So, it isn’t said directly, but it seems like it might be made by the original Huy Fong Foods Co., home of the “real” Sriracha, but they don’t use the original name to differentiate the ingredients list for the Japanese market.
