Gotta love the typical green public phones in Japan! Panasonic G100, Leica 15mm f/1.7

  1. Ah this is a fully matured green phone, you can tell it’s an adult with it’s enclosed booth and lighted interior. Not to be mistaken for the more common green phone (commonualistationinsidis) found in train stations. The green variety of course, while most common, is one of three species still found in Japan. There’s also the great gray phone, that can only eat telephone cards, and finally there’s the rare pink one – now considered endangered.

  3. I remember these – great to see they are still in the wild. Pay phones in Australia are very hard to find now…
