Nigiri from Mikuni, Concord CA!

1. My first real sushi was from Mikuni in Folsom, CA. Maybe 1997. I think they only had that one location at the time. I still remember that glorious three tuna sashimi. Maguro, Shiro Maguro and Albacore. Life changing.

2. Also in Concord, my fave sushi spot is Honda Sushi over by the Outback off Contra Costa. Some of the better Uni and fatty tuna I’ve had at a non high-end spot.
