1. Strange. He must be injured. Both this match and his match with ricky just went to no contest. I thought it was weird they’d do a singles with Fred right before his tourney match, but maybe they advertised it unaware if he’d make it or not and so they did this in case they needed to shoot an angle.

   Really hope Fred beats Lance and gets to go to Japan. Fred/Tanahashi would be fun

2. Was at C.C last night, I was pretty frustrated because I assumed Rosser wouldn’t get his payoff with Juice now ( which he probably won’t) and looked like such a jobber. He legit got not a single punch in. Glad he gets to do something besides being whipped with a belt and beaten with chairs for 10 minutes

3. This is all to keep the two different Bullet Clubs away from each other. Jay was never supposed to go to AEW when they shot the BitV angle.

4. Never should have been on the card in the first place imo.

   If s mid card guy leaves just let him leave and use your other guys to take his spot. No one bought tickets to see juice or bought the ppv to see juice.

   Juice choose to torpedo his career and be an ROH guy, you live with that choice. Hopefully juice is well paid and happy but NJPW should not waste anymore money on him

5. Everyone knows that Juice is contracted to AEW and not New Japan, so in kayfabe, it’s odd that they suspend him and not just stop booking him for his actions last night. Cross promotional stuff with AEW is more of a pain in the ass than it’s worth when they have to come up with explanations like this to get out of booking headaches.

   Hopefully Rosser beats Archer and goes to Dominion. He’d get over as a Hontai babyface in Japan, and him against Ospreay or Tanahashi would be a really good match. Don’t want to see Archer going through the motions in another singles match.

7. New Japan doing a Will Smith/Chris Rock Oscars angle is beneath them. Rosser gets nothing out of this.

8. As someone going to the Philly show…I’d rather see Fred Rosser vs Lance Archer anyway lol

   Saw Fred win the Strong belt here last year vs Tom Lawler and he was great. Im ready to cheer him again!

9. This is exactly why two promotions trying to book the same faction & storylines will never work. Jay White was never meant to go to AEW when they did him vs Hikuleo & Kingston.

10. I’m betting Tony doesn’t want Juice losing to Archer and that’s why all of this got screwed up.

12. Very amusing the degree to which not just fans but everyone in the industry, I assume even including Jay, thought he was headed for WWE. Things change real fast. Irritating that Rosser was booked to look like a chump (the Japan office really gives the Strong guys the short end of the stick sometimes) but keeping the two Bullet Clubs separated for now is a better build than having them both recruiting AND fighting each other at the same time; let them build their teams, then scrap later in the summer. I am kind of annoyed that Juice and Finlay aren’t together as heels, but that’s life; sometimes things happen out of order.

    AEW and NJPW are going to be working together a lot from the start of June to the end of August, at the very least, and I bet due to injury or politics things are gonna get changed a bunch of times.

13. Suspensions are NEVER a good thing for one’s career prospects.
