What is the most accurate Windows OCR

Since early 2020 I’ve been using an app on Android simply called OCR text scanner and it’s great and nearly 100% accurate whether I’m playing a Super Famicom game or a newer game with funky text. The issue is that it’s not convenient at all to use as I have to snap a pic of what I want to OCR first.

On the PC side, I haven’t been so lucky. I’ve tried game-to-text, capture-to-text, shareX, and Kanji Tomo but all have pretty meh accuracy and stumble on even slightly different text so I was wondering if there’s anything more accurate out there for OCRing images.

I find it hard to believe that this no-name app on Android can be so good but the popular ones on PC are so meh so I’m looking for suggestions for new ones to try

  1. The OCR on phones is much more successful because the camera and the processor are not mix and match like a PC is.

There are a number of things that phones are better at, for that reason.
