Getting my new residence card tomorrow – do I need to update JP bank info too?

Sorry if this has been asked before, couldn’t seem to find any answers on it.

If I do have to update them, I’d like to go tomorrow as well since it’s so hard for me to take time off work 😓 thanks

  3. Update the bank and go to city office if your MY number card has an expiration date on it. I have never had my account frozen but I got a letter requesting updated info.

  5. Yes and it takes like an hour and a half at a non-busy post office to do it. Or at least it did in my case.
