It says wild caught but sushi quality, so I’m assuming it’s been frozen long enough

Looks decent at least it’s not treated with (CO) defrost and repost defrosted ahi
Not in a month of sundays
We have used it, and it depends on the cut. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s sus. We check the color and give it the smell test. We also salt it or wash it with salt water for 20 minutes. Experts will say that’s not enough, but that’s what we do. When it’s good, it’s good.
I tried it with the Trader Joes ahi ahi buuutt.. I don’t know, it doesn’t taste fresh. The meat was kinda ruddy.
I eat it raw regularly never a issue I cut it up and put it in salad. 2 to three times a week for the last few years….
you can definitely eat it raw but it certainly won’t be restaurant quality
