Best way to study BA, MA or PhD in Japan (English-Delivered)

I know this will have been answered already and I know it would be easier to do a non-English delivered course but my Japanese isn’t strong enough yet to write at an academic level.

What is the best / easiest way to study at a Japanese university on a course that provides English delivery?

What universities / courses can people recommend?

As I’ve already done my MA, preferably I’d do my PhD, does anyone know of any universities that offer PhD support in English?

And finally, how best to fund it: as well as part time work, the Japanese government also provides scholarship and bursary opportunities for international students but I was wondering if anyone knew of anything else / anything specific or had any experience?

To clarify (cause it has just ocured to me) I’m in UK / Uk-citizen. Also, if you have any experience with UK uni courses that provide a JP element let me know. I know Warwick does a Linguistics with JP course, the only downside for me is that the abroad bit is only one year.

I’ve been super brief here so let me know if there’s anything you might want added.

Cheers in advance
