I’ve never heard of it before. Is it a YouTube channel?
Cure dolly is quite anti-JLPT so I doubt she follows the structure much.
If you are familiar with Cure Dolly then one of the first things discussed is how the approach is on learning organically and there is no specific focus or aiming for the JLPT which is just another academic style test – Cure Dolly focuses on grammar that covers N3 and beyond, but everything most relevant will be N5 to N3 as that is where your foundation of Japanese is made.
I’ll answer your question.
You will learn a whole lot, but you can’t tie it down to a jlpt level.
Jlpt is a test…. you are studying to do a test. Her teachings are about learning Japanese. Not learning for a test.
Most textbooks are tied to these tests as well.
The one thing that is basicly missing is a textbook to really bring it to another level. It could do with exercises…
Genki, and Japanese from zero both have videos with explanation and a decent amount of exercises in the books. Since cure dolly explains stuff in a different way it may confuse you. But I found her explanations really helpful.
There is also a dictionary of basic Japanese grammar. ( there is an Intermediate and an advanced too) . Anyway the first dictionary ,basic, is a real good resource to have.
B
Anyway I really enjoyed her videos and her explanations. But it won’t bring you much further than the beginning stages. In a language comparable to yours , you only have to learn different tenses and conjugations. But Japanese you even need to change the way you think.
I particularly liked her explanation of ‘好きです” So different from the textbook.
