Are these 2 sentences valid?

If I was to ask, “what’s that magazine about?”, would these 2 sentences be correct?

and

Does it matter which I use or are they so much the same they’re both OK? Or is there anything wrong in any of them? thanks!

  1. Both of these sound more like you’re asking what magazine it is.

    Try

  2. I think some people can get what you mean with your sentence

    Like

    What magazine is it?

    Ah, car magazine.

But you can say it more specifically like u/Kudgocracy says ☺️

    Fixed: Added furigana
