Hi all
I am now in the process of shortlisting and finding a good masters program for my interests (Tech), and have been looking mainly in the US and Japan.
I noticed that all the programs I have looked at require a thesis for completion. Are there any programs that are coursework or capstone project only ?
Because all the ones I have found are supposedly taught in English, so maybe there are ones that are taught in Japanese and don’t require research for completion.

• TiTech
• Kyoto
• Hokkaido
• Osaka
• Keio
• Waseda
• Tohoku
also is it required to have a research experience to get into these programs from your experience ?

Could you elaborate on what areas of Tech? The Universities you listed are all consider top 50 in Japan so depending on what your area of focus is, there will probably be a specialization/program for you. Though if you’re going the English speaking route there’s a lot more opportunities in the U.S….
