What visa are you coming to Japan with?
Hey, gonna be honest. I don’t think a Toyota mechanic’s shop is going to hire a foreigner who may or may not have great Japanese. Especially when the supply of Japanese mechanics is high enough already.
Focus on your career back home and come to visit. Living here is very different than visiting.
So for skilled work like automobile technician and/or mechanic your potential employer would need to be able to demonstrate to immigration that the domestic workforce lacks talented individuals already, forcing the employer to import talent from abroad.
I sincerely doubt that your experience and certifications working on Japanese cars would meet that requirement.

There was a guy in here a few years back who was able to geta visa to come as a mechanic specifically due to their certifications and experience with Lambos, and even at that they had their application rejected initially and their employer had to prove that Lambo mechanics are hard to find.
Btw, You need a 4 year bachelor’s degree or 10 years of work experience to get a working visa
The only way I know you could do this and stay in the car industry would be switching to a production or corporate role. For example, a friend of mine was promoted within Honda USA and sent to Utsunomiya for two years to learn and assimilate new welding and production techniques. He got lucky though as there was competition for the role.
But as a car technician, doing services, oil changes, etc etc, there’s no path for that.
Since are American and can fix cars, trucks, etc.
Look into contracting with a US company or military branch/originization.
They sometimes need mechanics to be hired out here in Japan as contractors.
