I get some of my clothes at ニッセンオンライン, American Amazon ( both of these options are a bit pricy but the first is somewhat good quality and Amazon is more familiar), Uniqlo has clothes online up to size LX3 which is good for office lady shirts, Aoyama has stores that carry Big Size but you got to go to their big outlets that can be out of the way. Big ABC Marts have wide business shoes.

   What I do is I buy business pants on Amazon and use hemming tape from Daiso since I’m also short on top of big. Then I get my shirts from the other two.

5. Have you considered an order-made suit? They’ll go pretty much as high as you want, and they’re not as expensive as you might think.

6. I recommend checking for tailors. Basic suits start at 30,000 JPY usually so not much more expensive than the ones off the rack but they fit so much better.

7. I’m really sorry that I don’t know the name but near kannai Daiso there is a place for pudgy people. If you want message me your size I will be in the area and can ask if they do tailored fit. I’ll be over there anyways this weekend so I’ll get you the name of the place.

8. I haven’t personally used this company yet but Keuzes is another order made suit brand for women. They are like Fabric Rainbow with regards to marketing themselves as LGBT friendly and diversity-friendly. So I would hope they would provide respectful service.

   Suit shopping in Japan off the rack is a bit tough. I have noticed that compared to other clothing suits for women here seem to run especially small. Wishing you the best in finding the right suit for you!

9. All my tall friends hit up 2nd street, the BIGGER “super” stores, they have a sorting system and apparently it’s a good place to shop for less common sizes.

13. If anyone on here is a women’s US size 18~22, I’m selling a TON of my clothes, both gently used and literally brand new with the tags still on them. A mix of Japanese fashion 3L~6L that I found fit decently, plus size regular clothes like jeans/pants, and really nice dresses (one is a Calvin Klein brand work dress, others are beautiful cocktail dresses, etc) from the US and France. There are a ton of tops that are work appropriate or could be worn with a suit jacket, and a mix of seasons too of course. I was planning on attempting Mercari but this thread popped up.

15. Shimamura. That is where I buy my suits. I have bought 2 suits there that have lasted me. I am a size 13-15 in Japanese sizes (so M-L US). But I know people who are much bigger than me (size 22 etc) who shop there as well
