    Honestly, Gedo putting him in BC may have benefitted him long term career-wise but it killed him as a singles guy.

    Guy was over as a babyface but Gedo probably didn’t see him as a main event guy so he just threw him into BC as Devitt’s lackey because Gedo didn’t know how to push two gaijins at the same time. He wanted to push Devitt as his main event guy and probably thought two white guys as singles stars would take the shine away from Devitt.
