I’ll be leaving the US this fall for a year exchange at UTokyo and have a few questions about it. I’m currently an undergrad student and can speak Japanese conversationally.
1. Is a dorm guaranteed for exchange students? What’s it like to live in one of their dorms?
2. How is the student life there? Would I be able join majority Japanese clubs?
3. How is the workload in terms of classes?
Any other thoughts on studying abroad at the University of Tokyo would be greatly appreciated!
