Hi I’m going to be visiting Tokyo for a small amount of time within a week but my wife needs medication for her PTSD. She currently takes Wellbutrin, Prozac, and Propranolol.
I have read a lot of conflicting things about importing prescribed medications from the states to Japan. I have read that you don’t need a Yunyu Kakunin-sho for a months supply of medication.
My question is would she be able to bring these medications in without a Yunyu-Kakunin-sho past customs with any issues or would they arrest and deport us for doing this?
Thank you,
anyone with for the most part experience doing this somewhat recently or anyone that currently lives in Japan please let me know your experiences
