Hi there, I’m looking to move to Japan in the next few years to study the language more and complete a trade qualification.
What are the odds of a Japanese company hiring a English speaking boilermaker/metal fabricator/welder? I wouldn’t even have clue where to start or if that’s even a possibility. Any hints, sites or experiences Will be appreciated

The easiest visa to get is the working holiday visa if you meet the requirements, but your line of work doesn’t hire foreigners who don’t speak Japanese.

If you’re fluent, slim.
If you’re not, none.
