I want to go to college in Japan but the visas are confusing me

So I want I to go to college in Japan for computer science but to get a degree there it’s four years and student visas are only for two years so do I have to study in America for 2 and then study in Japan for 2 or is it impossible for a foreigner to get a degree there? Also if I can get a degree there what would happen if during an semester my visa expires?

  2. The 2 year student visa limit is for language school students. You can maintain a student visa as long as you’re enrolled in a regular university (so until you finish your degree)

  3. I was watching a vlog from someone from the US going to college in Japan and he has to do summer semesters also to be able to stay year round and not have to come back during the summer. Just to add.
