GBoard won’t suggest katakana words.

So at first I thought that it was because it wasn’t enabled but when I enabled it, it still won’t leave any suggestions for katakana or kanji but it does suggest when I switch to english keyboard. Anyone know how to get it to work?

  1. That’s strange. Suggestions should appear above the keyboard by default. Feel free to PM me some screenshots of what’s happening when you type

  3. I had a similar problem with GBoard and then I switched to the Microsoft keyboard and it’s pretty good. Sorry I don’t have any solutions.
