I’ll be moving to japan from Tamilnadu, India for 1.25 years for my work. The apartment has been arranged by the company i work for and is great. I have to cook for myself and travel time will be about 45 mins and both office and apartment will be in Tokyo prefecture.
Since I can bring some cooking stuff from home , I’ll be able to manage it for at least 2 months.
What are the groceries that I can get similar to my home and what are things that I must bring from here to there and stuff available there. And general advice on how to adapt to their culture when performing necessary interactions.
Also, i am a beginner in japanese and can somewhat manage basic conversations.
