Well, people generally don’t read too many books at once. If you change your account, it is just that. You are logged in with a different account. Once you relog with your other account, you will have instant access to your library. Well, you likely will have to download some books you did not yet finish reading. But anyway, that should not be such a big issue?
Anyway, if you did some digging, you might come across stuff like: “[https://www.reddit.com/r/LearnJapanese/comments/o7x7ha/2021_updated_free_tadoku_graded_reader_pdfs_1796/](https://www.reddit.com/r/LearnJapanese/comments/o7x7ha/2021_updated_free_tadoku_graded_reader_pdfs_1796/)”
There is a lot of free content on your fingertips, just try to search for it.
If you just dont want to switch your account you could create a new amazon.jp account.
I’ve found on the Kindle store you also need a Japanese credit card to purchase books, so it may not be as simple as changing your account settings. As others said, there’s some sites with free books, or you could practice using the free previews from Amazon, for most books it lets you read quite a few pages for free in the preview.
