So, I was on leave from my old job for about a month due to stress and work induced depression (Late Feb-all of March). I got my ducks in a row, got the paperwork from my doctor for the month off and got the paperwork for illness/injury allowance submitted.
Has anyone been through this process before? I’m waiting on the medical pay because the bills are adding up and won’t get paid from my new job until the middle of next month.
I was told it could be about a month or two before I got medical leave pay but also told it could be two to three months. Kind of sweating here ^^;;;

Yeah I have, it took 2-3 weeks to process and get my money, pretty fast! You can call to confirm if they’ve received the papers too.

How do you have a new job if you are on medical leave? Is this permitted?
