4 people going to Japan for the first time. General plan is Tokyo, then base in Osaka, Hakone, then back to Tokyo. In terms of travelling, should we get the JR pass here or just stick with the suica? Here is our current plan:

Hey there! So, I would definitely see how much the fares altogether would be for the shinkansen and then compare to the JR pass. The price of the pass will be increasing, so you may end up saving some cash by just comparing everything. Another bit of advice, make sure you get your tickets and things for the parks and Teamlab locations ahead of your trip, just to make sure that you don’t miss out on anything. Take it from me, just made it back a few weeks ago, and didn’t do my homework and missed out on Teamlabs lol.
