1. Has anyone ever gotten a song added to the Live Dam or Joysound karaoke systems after filling out the request form? How long did it take? They seem to add no more than a handful of requested songs each month, so I’m guessing they’re very low priority.

2. My office location has changed – company name and everything else is the same. I’m pretty sure I’ve written my work address on official forms from time to time but is there anywhere it’s important to update?

3. Alright I expect the jokes to be imminent (fair), but would appreciate some advice:

   I have a side hustle as an editor for an indie studio that produces adult games—should I include that on a resume and how should I address it if it’s asked about in interviews?

7. I am confused about discretionary labor system. My initial understanding, and what my company enforces is that there is no overtime pay. But I keep seeing [articles like this](https://legalplus.jp/zangyo/knowledge/work-style/discretionary-labor-system/#mm-midashi_L) saying that there is overtime pay if the deemed working hours are more than the statutory working hours.
   Am I misunderstanding things? Or is it the “deemed working hours” that is the problem? Would love if someone with more knowledge can input.

8. Anyone have a way to deal with tennis elbow? All the advice I find online is, basically, rest it and ice when pain flares up, for about half a year. It is what it is, but does anyone have anything better?

9. What exactly goes into getting your JCI done? Like it’s so expensive on the whole, but I don’t understand why and I feel like asking my JCI guy might offend him. My car does need new tires but no other parts.

   I’ve gotten several quotes too and know from others this guy does good work. But why does ¥60000 seem to be the basic/cheap rate for getting it done?

    Joint Venture operations are something I haven’t seen too much on. Is there any reason that a Japanese company couldn’t found a company on behalf of a foreign enterprise who would operate it and give them a controlling stake in the new company?

18. How old is old enough for theaters? I’m thinking about taking my pre-schooler (年少) to see The Super Mario Bros. movie dubbed for a 4pm show. How old were your kids when they first saw a movie in the theater?

25. Stupid question but hey stupid questions thread. Are there any (free) apps that help with identifying the name of hills and mountains? I imagine something like opening the app, pointing your camera towards it, and a name will pop up.

    I often go on a day hike to place accessible by public transportation every other weekend. Often I’ll look up a mountain range and wonder what mountain or hill I’m looking at, especially on a certain side. Like what’s the name of the one closest to me? I know google maps is a thing but sometimes it’s still hard to tell if the mountain in front of me is what I’m actually seeing.

27. Is it possible to register on LINE with a US phone# while currently in Japan? During the app registration every time I try to use my number in ###-###-#### format for text verification, I am unable to receive the text. Receiving verification by call doesn’t work either. I am on tmobile w/ free text and data while overseas.
