I’m currently 31 so unfortunately dithered too much and missed the boat for a working holiday =(, but my partner is still only 29, turns 30 in September.
We’ve both been wanting to go to Japan to work/study for a long time, so I was wondering whether me studying (Japanese language), and him working would be a viable option?
I googled and searched a bit, but only came up with dependency visa, which I don’t think is applicable here?
If we were two individual people, I wouldn’t see any issues, I think issues might arise when it comes to accommodation.
I haven’t been suuuuper thorough in searching and investigating what accom for whv vs student visa is like yet.
Alternatively, is there any issues we’d encounter if we both instead chose to apply for study? – I feel like this is a question I can easily Google though.
My main question is as the title says.

**Can I apply for a student visa at the same time that my partner applies for a working holiday visa, and have us be together there?**
