Places to leave/post fliers for events in Tokyo

Hello internet!
So I’m having an exhibition in Kagawa next month with a collection of artists and a party to tie it all together. ( Yes, quite far from Tokyo but many people are traveling for Summer holiday ) I was wondering if anyone knew of any good spots that it’s acceptable to leave or post fliers for events. Are there any venues or spots where this is acceptable? They are only B6 size so even just leaving them on a table with other fliers is fine too!

  1. i see community boards in some train stations around here. maybe ask the train station guys if they’ll allow it.

  2. Go to city hall and ask them where you can bring them. You probably have some sort of local event information place in your area.

  3. You want to look for cafés, bars, and shops that cater to the kind of people you want to attract. Those places, especially alternative/artsy ones, will always have a collection of fliers, pamphlets, and business cards somewhere near the entrance, often next to the cash register, advertising like-minded establishments and events. Find those places, introduce yourself, explain your event, and they may let you add your flier to the collection.
