7 Ways to Say Thank You in Japanese : As an Appreciation for 1,000 subscribers! Thank you so much for always supporting my channel, everyone :)

Thank you so much for always supporting my channel!

My channel finally reached 1,000 subscribers today.
I really really appreciate the mods here, who allowed me to post my videos here even once in a week, people here, who often give me feedback and helpful suggestions, and my friends, who often check my English.

I couldn’t get there without you all.

Even though it hit 1,000 subscribers, my total amount of viewing time is way too small because allnof my videos are short, so I’ll continue to make videos just as one of my hobbies 😂

I made a video about “7 Ways to Thank You in Japanese” as an appreciation for 1,000 subscribers.

I hope you enjoy watching it 🙂

I appreciate your continued support!

  1. ‘Katajikenai’ is an i-adjective for “thankful”, although it is archaic in usage. Good video!

  2. This is great. I’ve always wondered about how 恐縮です works. From what I heard, it’s also used to apologize for bothering someone.

And here’s an idea for a follow-up video: “How to say you’re welcome” (don’t mention it, no need to thank me, it’s nothing, etc.): iie, tondemonai desu (tondemonou gozaimasu?), douitashimashite, etc.

Edit: Typo. Also funny how this is the only hit on Google in romaji for とんでものうございます.
