Hey there! I’m doing a research about translation of speech in videogame dialogues. I desperately need *English native speakers* who speak nice colloquial Japanese (N4-N3 or higher) for my experiment. In this experiment I ask you to translate a few short dialogues first from Japanese into English, and then from English into Japanese. The survey will only take around 10 minutes to complete, and the dialogues aren’t boring (hopefully haha). This is NOT a test of your Japanese language skill, I just ask you to translate the dialogues the way it feels natural for you. I will be very grateful if you take part in it!
If you are a native Japanese speaker and you speak good English (EIKEN Grade 2/TOEIC 700/IELTS 5.5 or higher), I ask for you help, too!

Done. If by “English native speakers” you mean people who were born and grew up in the US, Australia, UK or NZ only, feel free to disregard my entry.
I am from southeast Asia but I have used English for both professional and personal purposes (R&D for the former, translation and writing fan- and original fiction for the latter) for the last twenty years.
I saw this elsewhere and found it quite interesting. Will you be sharing the results anywhere?
