Hi all, just thought I might find some help here 🙂 We are in Japan atm with our 4 year old who is a crazy sonic fan. Will be in Osaka in 2 weeks for 2 weeks and in July in Tokyo. Hiroshima is also on our list. Any thoughts what we could do/visit with him since he absolutely loves Sonic that is sonic related and for 4 year olds ok?
And my friend from back home has a major crush on Dorohedoro anime, where can I find her some cool stuff? Not familiar with merch from anime at all 😅
Thanks a lot for answering!

Sonic the Hedgehog?
Check out SEGA Joypolis in Odaiba, Tokyo.
IIRC, there will be Sonic The Hedgehog Land in USJ. Not sure when it will be finished though.

I just got back from Tokyo/Osaka/Kyoto this past Sunday, and to be honest, I didn’t see much Sonic stuff at all. There were a couple gachapon in a random mall outside of Akihabara, but that was really it.
I’m hoping someone else comments some good spots so I can take note for my next trip.
You can try Joypolis at Odaiba? There are sonic games and merch i think
I don’t know much about Dorohedoro, but that came out a few years ago, didn’t it? Generally you’re going to have a hard time finding merchandise unless it’s from a show currently airing or something hugely popular (ie: One Piece, Spy x Family, MHA, DBZ, Pokemon, Demon Slayer). Your best bet would be to try secondhand stores like Mandarake and Book Off.
Don’t recall seeing much Sonic at all when I was there in December. Maybe a gacha somewhere? You could try a toy store like Toys R Us. Somehow I feel like Sonic is more popular in the West.
Ok thanks will try mandarake 🙂
