use of ぜひ

Couldn’t find examples of this on google.

ぜひ seems to be used with ください, like ぜひ来てください!
can you also say ぜひ来て欲しい and use ぜひ like this, or is it just for the command ください? If not, can you explain if there are any other ways to use ぜひ besides with the ください form. I said ぜひ来てほしい and looking back I think it was wrong. maybe I should have said 絶対? not sure.

Thank you!

  1. The person speaking it is eager to do something.
Often it is accompanied by a sentence that expresses a request or a desire, but can often be imagined from the situations.

If expressed in English, it would be equivalent to “by all means”, “please”, “I do hope …”.
