Buttttttt in Kobe and the azeleas are in full bloom which is spectacular. Number of festivals happening around them too!

Go to higher altitude areas in North Tohoku or Hokkaido.
There were definitely some around Hachimantai in Iwate last weekend.
But they will disappear fast I think.
There are still a few spots in Morioka with trees that are 50 % but every day less.
