Need help finishing Kansai Itinerary

I’ll be in Kyoto for 6 full days (+2 travel days)

Left the last 2 days as free days, what do you guys recommend? Anything I missed?

  1. Where you can proceed depends on the season. When will you stay? In general, Kibune Shrine, Kuramadera Temple, Sanzenin Temple, Hosenji Temple, Atago Nenbutsuji Temple, Byodoin Temple, Ninnaji Temple, Nijo Castle, and Kyoto Gyoen may be on your list.

    Also, although we tend to focus on Kyoto and Nara, there are interesting temples and shrines on the east side of Kyoto, about 30 minutes by train from central Kyoto.

    Are you interested in festivals? Kyoto and Nara are places with many festivals.
