Computer slang

Hello all!
I’m getting back into creating technical writeups for cybersecurity challenges, and I’m looking for laid-back alternatives to terminology. I currently use CJK’s JETECH dictionary for technical vocabulary, but I’ve gotten feedback in the past that (other than my broken and poor grammar) I sound wooden and too formal and repetitive.

There’s only so many times I can say 計算機 or コンピュータ before people go crazy. Can you all point me to a good resource or give some advice on what I could do to diversify my writeups? Thank you so much!

  1. University of Wisconsin has some Technical Japanese textbooks that might be helpful. The intermediate level has a separate glossary book; these are from 2003 so that may be an issue for your space.

Mitsubushi has some industrial engineering “dictionaries” in the public domain, including
