VR chat. Despite the name you do not need VR. There are worlds for general discussion and learning.
My personal favorite way is to download a vpn and play online games with people from Japan. The ping is garbage but 90% of the time voice chats work very well.
The Hello Talk app is nice. I’ve had a hard time finding anyone who wants to speak consistently tho. Maybe it’s just me

They are super friendly and always so surprised when you are able to have even a basic conversation in Japanese.
Just get ready to utterly destroy your sleeping schedule depending on where you live.
