Otter bitter me in harajuku, should I be concerned about rabies??

I definitely am just paranoid about getting rabies right? 😂 like theres no chance it actually had it?

It was an otter at an otter cafe in harajuku, i asked the employees and i think they understood what i was saying in english? They said they have shots

And also they work with them everyday so how would they have rabies

I get anxious a lot….. so i guess itd be nice to know other people’s opinions!

Especially because it’s a different country from the United States I don’t know if i should be concerned lol.

It also didn’t draw blood, just lightly scratched my finger with its teeth, like i guess it only broke the top layer of skin?

  1. I would say you most likely have nothing to worry about I mean it’s a business that features otters to interact with I doubt people would visit those places if there was danger of rabies from a scratch imagine the kind of legal issues that would come. Any sensible business would have prevention in place to avoid these issues.

  2. Was it worth the ¥1600? I wanted to do it on my last day in Tokyo, but opted to keep that money for more souvenirs.

  3. And this is why you shouldn’t support these kind of places. They are wild animals not pets. Even more cruel than a zoo

  4. Sorry there is an otter Cafe? How the hell I miss that while I was there. Where and what is this places name?
