Itinerary check

Hello, I (23f) will be in Japan for 12 days from May 27 to June 10 with my parents (59m and 58f) and brother (19m). It is our first trip there and I am so excited! We will be in Tokyo, Kyoto, Kinosaki, Hiroshima, and then Tokyo again at the end. My dad and I are the ones planning the trip and I wrote out an itinerary that he will amend. I’m interested in everyone’s perspective and advice, including on what needs to be reserved in advance.

**Tokyo**

Day 1: Senso ji Temple, Hozomon, Asakusa Shrine, Asakusa

Day 2: Meiji Jingu Shrine, Meiji Shrine Imperial Garden, Takeshita Street, Yoyogi Park, Ota Memorial Museum of Art

Day 3: Ueno Park, Tokyo National Museum, Tokyo National Museum the Heiseikan, National Museum of Western Art (my parents don’t like this one though because they want to do “Japanese things in Japan”)

Day 4: Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden and leave for Kyoto

**Kyoto**

Day 4 continued: Geisha and Maiko Makeover Experience in Kyoto Gion Aya, Sanjusangendo Temple, Kennin-ji Temple, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Gion, dinner with maiko at Yasakadori Enraku, Shinbashi Dori, Ishibe Alley

Day 5: Konchi-in, Nanzen-ji Temple, Nanzenji Suirokaku, Eikando Zenrinji Temple, Ginkakuji Temple (via Philosopher’s Walk)

Day 6: Arashiyama, Tenryuji Temple, Monkey Park Iwatayama, Kinkakuji Temple

Day 7: Toji Temple, Nijo Castle, Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, Tofuku-ji Temple and leave for Kinosaki

**Kinosaki**

Day 7 continued: Kinosaki Onsen

Day 8: Kinosaki Onsen, Takeno Coast

Day 9: Street of Kinosaki Onsen and leave for Hiroshima

**Hiroshima**

Day 9 continued: Itsukushima Shrine, Miyajima, Itsukushima Shrine Torii, Dashoin Temple

Day 10: Atomic Bomb Dome, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall, Peace Bell, The Cenotaph, Peace Flame, Children’s Peace Monument

Day 11: Shukkei-in Garden, Hiroshima Museum of Art and leave for Tokyo

**Tokyo**

Day 11 continued: Ginza (shop, shop, shop)

Day 12: Ghibli Museum Mitaka, Cat Cafe Temari no Oshiro, Kinkakuji, Kabukiza Theater
