Yucho Bank phone app not working?

I recently opened a bank account with JP Post Yucho and my card has recently arrived. I’m trying to download and use the application so that I can check my account online (not the Yucho Pay app).

I am at the part where it wants my Card Number, Name, and DOB but everytime I type in the name that is also on the card (minus the spaces & in katakana) I get an error message saying that a user with those those credentials does not exist. I know that the DOB and card number are correct so am I doing something wrong with typing my name in? (Registered my full name so typed in as FamilyNameFirstNameMiddleName in katakana despite the card itself having spaces in between)
