I think I did see 妖精(ようせい) quiet a lot and can’t really remember where I did see フェアリー. Might depend on the kind of content you consume as well. Anyway, I’d say general fantasy or Isekai stuff will likely feature “妖精” for fairy, if we got into the naming of some modern places or fancy foods, the likelihood they put in “フェアリー” for just how it sounds actually will be rather high .
