I’m quite a novice and I’ve watched months ago a documentary on Japanese public baths. As far as I remember, they said that usually, such baths are indicated on signs with the hiragana “ゆ”.
However, when I looked on a dictionary I couldn’t find that translation from my language to Japanese (I wrote “bath” and I had plenty of different words in specific terms but nothing with “ゆ”). Lately, I’ve been watching Shigurui (available on yt), and on episode 3, 10min20 : the character simply says “ゆ” while demanding a bath.
Then I wonder how is this word used, and if it is kind of rude maybe.
As an example, could it be correct to use it in such a sentence : “ゆはここです” -> “the bath/source is here”

This ゆ refers to 湯, which literally means “hot water” but is also used to refer to baths.
You might have an easier time in future if you search in a Japanese dictionary for the word, （you can then use a translation tool if you don’t understand what it says）. Generally native dictionaries will be more complete than Eng to Jp ones.
湯 is one of those words that frequently takes the honorific prefix お, but otherwise, your sentence is correct.
