My fiancée and I are planning our honeymoon in Japan for 3 weeks around December.
We were thinking of the following itinerary and would love any suggestions/ thoughts on this draft plan. We are big foodies/ and love to explore areas. My fiancée also wants to spend a couple of days skiing which we were hoping to do near nagano at the end. Also any suggestions for places to do some cooking classes would be much appreciated.
We were thinking of this plan:
**1-3 Dec**
* Team Lab
* Asakusa
* Roppongi Hills
* Day trip to Kawaguchiko
**3-4 Dec** **Hakone**
* Onsen (Mount view?)
**4-8 Dec Kyoto**
* Day trip to Osaka
* Explore Kyoto
* any other place we should explore?
**8-9 Dec Kinosaki onsen**
* Stay at a ryoken
**9-11 Dec Hiroshima**
* Miyajima Island?
**11-12 Dec- Kanazawa**
* Shinpachi Shokudo Shinjuku breakfast
* Wander Higashi Chaya district at night
* Kenroku-en Garden.
**13 Dec- Takayama**
* Takayama Omicho Market for Lunch (lots of fresh seafood, snow crab in season)
**14-18 Dec – Nagano**
* Skiing
**18-22 Tokyo**
* Shopping (any places for good knives?)
* Flight back
